SIS-USA ACQUIRES EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO MARKET GENESISV2 LINE OF TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT PRODUCTS

New Line Consists of Flexible and Ergonomic Support System For Wide Array of Flat Panel Displays, CPUs, Laptops & More
January 9, 2009, Londonderry, NH -- SIS-USA, Inc. announced today that it has acquired the exclusive North American rights to market a
line of technology support products manufactured by the Denmark-based Space International A/S. The product line, designated geneSISv2, is a flexible system for ergonomically mounting a wide array of flat panel displays and other computer peripherals in virtually any workspace.
According to SIS-USA, the system incorporates such extreme flexibility that the manner in which displays are mounted is virtually unlimited. For example, a single geneSISv2 arm can support one monitor, yet the system incorporates the flexibility to create a more complex configuration that can support any number of displays. This creates an ergonomic solution for a wide range of applications such as business offices, classrooms, air traffic control towers, security monitoring centers, call centers, video and film editing rooms and many more.
"The addition of geneSISv2 is the perfect complement to our existing office and educational furniture product lines," stated Alan Morse, president of SIS-USA. "Whether addressing office or classroom applications, we can now offer an extremely flexible total solution for mounting displays, laptops, CPUs and other computer peripheral products which in return, creates more ergonomic, productive and cost-effective work environments along with SIS' height adjustable tables."
Extreme Flexibility
As with any solution, no single product will be effective in addressing every problem, but a unique collection of pieceslike genSISv2can be custom selected to create a total solution for any given application.
At its most basic, the geneSISv2 system consists of a single arm (gas spring, crank or manual) that can be mounted to a desk, to a wall or a vertical floor/ceiling post. This arrangement can support single or multiple monitors; each one adjustable to the user's optimum viewing angle. Multiple monitors can be added to a single arm or pole in a double horizontal, double vertical, quad vertical, or in a variety of other patterns. Each display is easily adjustable to achieve the optimal viewing angle and height for each user. Electric motor risers are available for multi monitor applications. Larger installations consisting of vast numbers of monitors can be created whereby the heights of entire rows can be automatically adjusted, providing the ideal viewing height.
In addition to mounting flat panel displays, the geneSISv2 system offers components to hold laptop computers and CPUs with fully integrated wire-management support to enhance work areas by making better use of existing space. This enables businesses to add workstations to areas where space is limited or add multiple displays in areas in which desktops are small. As a bonus, because of the advanced ergonomics of the geneSISv2, displays can be easily adjusted so the individual becomes less fatigued and less prone to injuries.
"Every installation is different," continued Alan Morse. "Each one is designed to address a specific application and environment. For example, a dentist's office may require one or more displays mounted on existing dental equipment, a call center may need multiple monitors integrated into small desktop work areas, and a power plant control center may require a large number of displays to be wall mounted. There is a wide variety of businesses and industries that can benefit from and become more productive with the geneSISv2 system."
Markets for genSISv2
SIS-USA expects the market for the geneSISv2 system to be extensive. These include healthcare(hospitals, clinics, labs and radiology centers),command centers (air traffic controllers, 911 call centers, security monitoring installations, etc.), direct marketers, classrooms, sales offices,
waiting areas, registration areas, geological mapping centers, teleconferencing areas, banking and finance and many more.
SIS-USA anticipates that educational facilities may be a prime candidate for genSISv2. As educational facilities discover the importance of economy-of-space, they will appreciate the benefits derived by mounting displays in general areas and have students move to those areas to work. The geneSISv2 system provides the advanced flexibility to accommodate students of varying heights.
SIS-USA offers a team of support managers to recommend the ideal configuration for specific applications and environments. Pricing varies depending on the installation.
